How to Set Up Automatic Backups

In this tutorial, we will show you how to set up an automatic backup that runs every 24 hours at 1:00 AM.


Important


- If your server has reached its backup limit, you need to delete an old backup before a new one can be created.


1. Log in to Your Game Panel


- Log in to your game panel.


2. Select Your Server


- In the Server Overview, click on the name of your server.




3. Open the Schedules Section


- Click on Schedules in the menu.




4. Create a New Schedule


Click on CREATE SCHEDULE.



Enter a name for your schedule.
Set the time for the schedule:
- MINUTE: 0
- HOUR: 1
- DAY OF MONTH: *
- MONTH: *
- DAY OF WEEK: *
- Disable the Only when server is online option.

Click on CREATE SCHEDULE.




5. Add a Backup Task


Click on the name of your new schedule.



In the top-right corner, click on the hamburger menu and select Add a New Task.



In the ACTION field, select Create backup.
- If you’re creating a backup for a FiveM server, enter the name alpine in the IGNORED FILES field.

Click on CREATE TASK.




Confirmation


Your automatic backup is now configured! The system will create a backup every 24 hours at 1:00 AM.
