# How to manage your files via FTP using WinSCP

### How to Manage Your Files via FTP with WinSCP

Managing your files via FTP is one of the fastest ways to perform tasks like uploading new resources or making major changes to your server files. Follow these steps to get started:

### 1. Download and Install WinSCP
If you haven’t installed WinSCP yet, [download it here](https://winscp.net/eng/download.php) and complete the installation process.

### 2. Locate Your SFTP Settings
Open the **Control Panel** and click on **Settings**.

### 3. Launch the SFTP Connection
On the **Settings** page, find your SFTP details on the left and click **Launch SFTP**.

### 4. Connect with WinSCP
WinSCP will open automatically. The first time you connect, you’ll see a security warning. Click **Yes** to proceed.

### 5. Enter Your Game Panel Password
Use your **game panel password** to log in.  

### How to Find Your FTP Password
* **If you are a subuser**, the FTP password is the same as the one you use to log in to the game panel.  
* **If you are the owner**, you can find your FTP password in the [billing dashboard](https://vibegames.com/dashboard) under **SFTP details** and press the copy button to copy the password.

### 6. Manage Your Files
Once connected, you’ll see your files and folders displayed on the right side of the WinSCP window.

* **Edit files:** Right-click on any file or folder to edit it.
* **Upload files:** Simply drag and drop files into the desired folder.
