# How do I add mods to my ARK server?

|| In this tutorial we will add the S+ mod but there are alot of other mods available!

1. Search for your mod on the internet.
2. Copy the **ID** of the mod. You can find this in the URL of the page on the steamcommunity.com website. The ID for the S+ mod is 731604991.

4. In the server list click on your ARK server
5. [Open the GameUserSettings.ini](/en/article/how-do-i-change-my-ark-settings-1b9fpju/)
6. If you didn't added the `ActiveMods=` variable yet, please add `ActiveMods=` under `[ServerSettings]`

7. Behind the `ActiveMods=` variable add the mod ID followed by a comma **,**

8. Click on the ++SAVE CONTENT++ button.
